Many of the jobs I’ve done in Vancouver involve removing cracked or unwanted concrete to make way for newer surfaces or alternative landscaping. Concrete removal can be simple, less noisy and dusty than others make it to be. When I see a contractor with two guys with a sledge hammer and another guy on a jack hammer with heaps of small broken up bits of concrete all around a dust cloud, I wish I could show them how much easier it could be. This doesn’t have to be a long, loud and dusty process. Concrete Driveways:
Much of our work involves building or replacing concrete sidewalks, and creating custom driveways. We also replace broken City sidewalks and create new “curb cuts” from the street to provide a new driveway entrance to a property. Our concrete work is top notch. Not only are the finishes unmistakenly professional, the sub-base preparation is carefully performed and the concrete is reinforced with the appropriate measures. Driveways and patios are integrated with drainage infrastructure beneath that ties into the existing drainage system around the home. We also build retaining walls from concrete or loosely fit rock or large boulders. Either way, these installations include drainage measures that integrate with the rest of the property in order to avoid costly problems associated with unwanted water buildup.
